 WHITE WEDDING - 3 TIERS OF WHITE RUFFLES


Miss J & Mr T were exchanging their vowels on Thursday 3rd October....  followed by a Reception at Moore & Moore Gallery in Fremantle.

The Wedding Cake =
Three Tiers of Brandied Fruit Cake - stacked and decorated with large curved White Ruffles....
The Bottom Tier being a 10 inch round - 
The Middle Tier being an 8 inch Round and the Top Tier being a 6 inch Round

Each Tier consisted of 2 Fruit Cakes - bring the height of each Tier to 6 inches....Sitting on my Large Silver Plateau Cake Stand.


The style of Cake , being so fitting for the Venue chosen... Vintage yet Rustic...

One large Rose... with a smaller one and a bud - in Dusky Pink  sat to the side of the Middle Tier...whilst smaller White flowers  sat around the bottom edge of each tier....

Little bottles and pots with sprigs of lowerssat amongst the varying size Candles - adding  a hue of light to the room  

The Brides Bouquet sat on the Long Cake Table in my White Vintage Jug.

The Bride looked truly radiant in her soft Vintage Ivory Lace Gown... gently floating around her.. with her every step...and yes, the Groom looked  Handsome and dashing... as he stood along side his new Bride.

Thank you to both Jane & Trevor for the joy of sharing in their wedding day and Reception... it was indeed a wonderful Evening.

ENGAGEMENT - TEAL WITH DIAMONTES

ENGAGEMENT - TEAL WITH DIAMANTE'S.....


On Saturday Evening the 12th October 2013, The delightful Miss KW  officially became Mr TC's Fiancee.   And although we could not be  part of the Celebrations due to travelling Interstate..... an Engagement Cake i did make in Miss K's theme colour....Teal. 


Teal with strings of Diamantes, sitting on a 12 inch Teal covered Cake board.
Standing 6 and a half inches tall - 7 layers of Chocolate Mud Cake,  torted and filled with Milk Chocolate Ganache between each of the layers.

WEDDING - WHITE with BLING AND A BLUSH OF PINK

Freshwater Bay Yacht Club was the Reception Venue for Daniella & Andrew
And after so many days of rain - the sun shone with a gentle warmth..... such a beautiful day for a Spring Wedding.

White with Bling strands and a Blush of Pastel Pink were the colours......
A Cutting Cake ..........................and 130 Cup Cakes....all sitting in little white scalloped cases.
Flowers in all different designs and sizes - some with a dusting of Blush Pastel Pink - whilst others crisp white. 

Two Cupcakes sitting high above the rest on 11 inch tall Crystal Stands -  next to the 8 inch Crystal stand that held the Cutting Cake.

Little Cupcakes under glass Cloches - Large Butterflies on dainty Flowers and small votive's all adorned the long Cake Table.........with  a view of the Bay in the background.

WEDDING..IVORY & TAUPE

Ivory & Taupe, yes, these were the colours Laura & Issac had chosen for theire Wedding Cake and 100 Cocktail size Cup Cakes.

The  6 inch Round x 6 inch high Cutting cake was covered in Ivory Fondant and decorated with an array of Ivory - Taupe and Ivory Flowers, dusted with the colour Taupe.
Smaller flowers and Leaves tumbled over the top edge of the Cake - and little birds sat amongst the delicate Flowers....which sat on a Ivory covered board.
  

The 100 Cocktail size Cup Cakes were also decorated in the Ivory, Taupe and Ivory flowers dusted with Taupe.
All sitting in varying shades of the dear little delicate Lace  wrappers.

The Cutting Cake sat on the 8 inch high Crystal stand whilst  the array of Cup Cakes sat in and around my 3 tier Vintage Cage.....


The Ceremony and Reception was held at Moore & Moore Gallery in Fremantle.... which meant that the Vintage tiered Cage was *at home* in such a venue.

The gifts for the guests was such a gorgeous idea.....little potted herbs in terracotta pots... again - such a fitting idea and theme for such a Venue.

As i left the Venue the sun was just starting to set, and the glow from the venue lights and the early evening sky were magnificent.... transforming the street scape from black and white during the daylight hours into another world....  
  Of course, always ready with my camera - i had to catch that moment in time.

Sadly there was a huge white light  shinning down on the cake table which  reflected off the fondant - and thus made everything very  bright and blurry...
